Hello and thanks for visiting us here!
A little bit about us….
We’re Mike and Kari, owners of Tumalo Candle Co, who are semi retired and live right here in Central Oregon. We love the beauty of this place, but even more than that, we love that we get to do our part in providing safe, clean candles, diffusers and room sprays to help make your home, and ours, a little more cozy and inviting.
We have four adult kids and 11 grand kiddos. Yep, you read that right, eleven —- and I’m pretty sure our tribe isn’t finished growing yet! After a very full life of raising our amazing kids, we entered into our empty nesting season unsure of what life would look like for us with more time on our hands.
And lo and behold, we became owners of this unique and special small business.
It’s been so much fun learning all the things around running a retail business, marketing it, making it our own, as well as the science of candles and exploring new scents and products along the way. We’re loving all of it and are excited to share this journey with you!
